Sr Manager, Software Development

Location: Seattle, WA

Our client is seeking a passionate leader to help us bring customers and product together through next level software solutions.  If you enjoy guiding a team of high performing engineers to produce winning customer experiences, we’ve got your number.

In this role you will be supporting an engineering team focused on building a platform that delights customers by helping them find products they love.  Whether on the web, mobile, or in the stores your team supports matching products with customers at high scale and with low latency.  This requires a combination of search, machine learning, and big data.  It is a fascinating space with endless depth.

You will be responsible for working with product managers to define a roadmap and deliver on it while meeting agreed upon KPI’s.  To achieve this, you will be given deference over process, tools, technology, team, and architecture.  We believe in allowing people to bring not only their skills but their style to the table.

While this is not a hands on position, your passion for quality engineering allows for the occasional joyful dive into code.  To ensure that nothing gets in the way of delivery, your team is full stack and cross functional-  you own deployment, testing, and infrastructure of the platform.
