This is a contract position with our client in downtown Chicago.  The position will work in legal compliance supporting legal staff with HR information, data gathering to support required filings. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:
 
  • Working exp with EEO law and regulations

  • Experience with Previous Federal/government/state regulation compliance filings 

Must be able to show exp implementing - new HR guidelines, policies or programs relating to existing practices and procedures; ensures compliance with regulations and legislation relative to the day-to-day operations of Human Resources; 
Some HRIS system exp/reporting, data gathering. 
 
  • Applies expert knowledge in providing input to the creation and management of Affirmative Action (AA) plans, EEO-1 reports, and compliance certifications to ensure organizational compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) laws, as well as all other applicable federal, state and local employment laws; 
  • Makes recommendations to implement new HR guidelines, policies or programs relating to existing practices and procedures; ensures compliance with regulations and legislation relative to the day-to-day operations of Human Resources; 
  • Collaborates with legal counsel and vendors on legislative and/or policy changes resulting in process and/or reporting requirement or protocols; 
  • Communicates legislative changes to HR partners and internal stakeholders; 
  • Monitors organizational applicant tracking data in iCIMS and Human Resource Information Systems (Oracle) to ensure record keeping practices are following applicable laws (e.g., EEO and AA); 
  • Provides consultation support to the Talent Acquisition team and the Diversity and Inclusion outreach subcommittee to ensure that the organization engages in effective outreach efforts in support of our Diversity and Inclusion strategy; 
  • Provides strategic direction to the business based on trends and findings derived from the latest AA Plans and EEO-1 reports; 
  • Assists in the development and implementation of training and awareness to the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Managers around AA goals, compliance requirements and record keeping; 
  • Works closely with the Diversity and Inclusion lead and Councils; 
  • Develops and designs human resource compliance audits to ensure data integrity; 
  • Maintains an organizational compliance calendar and checklist; 
  • Partners cross functionally to remain abreast of current internal business, organizational and leadership changes; 
  • Follows legislative changes and external business trends; and 
  • Researches, analyzes and evaluates external elements and best practices in HR compliance solutions, applying business acumen to improve outcomes.
