Resume Search. ‘Find and Engage the People you’ll Hire’
Helping people to get jobs is hard, even in today’s market. Hundreds of thousands of recruiters sift through millions of resumes. Our vision is to use innovative technology to positively disrupt the status quo and enable recruiters to be more effective. We use the right tools for the right situation (e.g., machine learning and other automation techniques) to offload the repetitive, time-consuming tasks so that recruiters can concentrate on authentic customer service. Our system will match the best applicant to each job, based on both skills and culture fit. The recruiter will receive recommendations, rather than having to manually search.
All Indeed teams work together towards our mission by constantly innovating and improving every part of the job seeking experience. In the Resume Search team, our focus in on employers and our goal is to make recruiting easy and frictionless. We provide a suite of world-class recruiting tools on a highly distributed platform that scales to the needs of the 3+ million companies that use Indeed to hire.
As a software development manager (SDM), you will craft a long-term technology vision, build your team, deliver high quality software, and invent new ways to improve the job seeking experience. We are organized into vertical areas of the customer experience such as Search, Candidate Engagement, and Administration & Payment. Quality Assurance (QA) and Data Science (DS) engineers will be embedded within your team, in addition to the software engineers directly reporting to you. Your obsessions are customer experience, growing a rich, vibrant business, and leading the career development and satisfaction of your team.
Does our mission and these challenges resonate with you? Have you ever been frustrated by the job hunting process at one point or another? Then we need to talk.
